There are several perfect terroirs for wine production, more rarely, there are just magical wine places, and Bolgheri is one of these. This is one of the reasons why Antonio Capaldo, President of Tenute Capaldo decided to bet on Campo alle Comete, a 26 hectares estate of vineyards, part of the wonderful amphitheater shaped territory, cultivated with the typical Bolgheri grapes, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Vermentino. The majority of the vineyards belong to Bolgheri Appellation; the oldest vines were planted in 1993 whereas the density is between 5000 and 6500 plants per hectare.
Visitors will feel on cloud nine.
