A new terroir in Bolgheri
Torre alle Comete comes from the extraordinary new vineyards located near the Donoratico Tower at 230 m ASL, one of the highest positions in the denomination. From dawn to dusk the vines are bathed in sunlight, but also constantly caressed by the sea breeze, so this vineyard is airy and cool even during the long summer days.
The vineyard offers a breath-taking view of the Etruscan coast from Livorno to the island of Elba, and is the perfect place from where to admire the island of Gorgona.
The label
Inspired by a sketch of the artist Nicoletta Ceccoli, the label reproduces a dreamlike vision of the tower that dominates Bolgheri, an access key to reveal the magic of this area.
As with all the cellar’s labels, the Torre is inhabited by imaginary characters.
