Crumpled Maps are the lightest maps in the world: indestructible, soft and waterproof, they can be crumpled, squashed and crushed into a ball. What’s more, the more battered they are, the better they look. A contemporary reinvention of the most basic travel tool: they are easy to use, more fun and inspire more freedom than traditional maps; they have a completely new look, from the street mappings to the colour scheme and include fresh and fun new city icons.
Trip outside the city – Bolgheri
The Crumpled Map, created by Palomar for the most important cities of the world, is a map printed on an ultra-light, indestructible and water-proof innovative material. The collaboration with Feudi di San Gregorio resulted in three maps inspired by important wine producing territories where the following have their companies: the Campania winery Feudi di San Gregorio in Irpinia; the Tuscan Campo alle Comete in Bolgheri; and the Lucanian Basilisco in Vulture.
